Rose Mooney was a blind harpist from County Meath who competed at Granard and Belfast during the 18th century. She placed third at several Granard festivals and performed at the 1792 Belfast assembly. Her companion Mary allegedly pawned her clothing for drink, and conflicting claims place her death either in 1798 or 1800.
