What is recorded here

This togher (L 11.5m min.; Wth 0.65m; D 0.1m), noted in 1988, was orientated E-W and consisted of several long straight longitudinal roundwoods of oak and ash (diam. 0.08-0.1m). These were laid on occasional well-spaced transverses of oak secured by pegs. Radiocarbon dated to 2559-2294 BC (3930±40 BP, GrN-16006) (Raftery 1990, 18-19, 63; 1996, Derryoghil 7, 127-9).
