What is recorded here

The site (L 13.62m min.; Wth 5.64m; D 0.1m) appears to be orientated NE-SW and is severely damaged. It is composed of closely spaced, transverse brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.052m) with some light roundwoods and occasional twigs. The brushwood continues beyond the exposed area. The wood is in very poor condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Phragmites and Menyanthes seeds. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
