What is recorded here

The site (L 2.63m min.; Wth 0.78m; D 0.03m) consists of longitudinal brushwood and some twigs on the field surface IT has been damaged but the surviving elements (diam. 0.02-0.059m) are parallel and regularly spaced. The wood is in poor condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and tree root. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
