In County Longford, a low hawthorn tree stands beside a holy well, its branches heavy with tied rags. People have visited this small ritual site for generations, leaving cloth markers that signal prayer, memory, or personal hope. The tree does not need grandeur; it gives up none of its strangeness, waiting patiently for the next person who believes it can receive what words cannot reach.
Associated with a holy well (LF006-025001-), which lies immediately to its NW. A number of rags are tied to this low hawthorn tree.
