What is recorded here
Situated on a slight NW-SE ridge. The cropmark of a circular area (diam. c. 10m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP, BDJ 20, 21). It is not visible at ground level in pasture, but it is immediately SE of a depression (diam. c. 40-45m; D c. 2m) that may be a quarry or may be natural.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
