Double-arch dressed limestone bridge, built c. 1870, carrying road over River Tourig. Dressed limestone walls, soffits and parapet walls. Cut stone string course. Round-headed arches with dressed stone voussoirs. Carved limestone U-cutwaters with engaged finial to east and west elevations.

Shows evidence of highly skilled craftsmanship in its stonemasonry, the cutwaters being particularly well designed and executed. Highly visible over a wide surrounding area, it brings architectural interest to the landscape and marks the boundary between counties Cork and Waterford.
