Rectangular enclosure

Situated on the flat valley bottom of the NE-SW River Bann, with the stream just to the E. Marked as a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 60m ENE-WSW; c. 45m NNW-SSE) with a double bank or a wide moat on the E and S sides on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is visible as a cropmark on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AUK 2), and is visible on the ground as a slightly sunken, grass-covered rectangular area (dims. c. 46m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW).
