Structure

A regular deposit (Wth 0.88m; D 0.41m) of brushwood with occasional twigs. The larger elements are toward the base of the deposit with the elements predominantly orientated E-W. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
