Structure

A deposit (L 1.45m min.; Wth 1.39m; D 0.18m) of poorly preserved mixed brushwood and occasional twigs. The elements are widely spaced, irregularly laid and up to four pieces deep. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. SMR OF010-189---- is 2.2m to the NW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
