Structure

An irregular deposit (Wth 1.6m; D 0.5m min.) of brushwood, interspersed with occasional twigs with three regularly laid pieces of brushwood 0.26m to the NE. The site is in poorly to moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum. SMR OF010-203---- is 0.1m below the centre of this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
