Grave Yard stands immediately north of Straffan church in County Kildare, a rectangular field of memory bounded by a mortared stone wall and entered through an eastern gateway. Forty-five inscriptions and thirty-seven photographs capture markers spanning the nineteenth century to the present, proving that this is not a forgotten hole but a living archive of local loss. The stones may be quiet, yet they belong to people who loved, argued, born and died within reach of the church bells. To walk the yard is to hear that continuity breathing through marble and moss.

Immediately N of Straffan church (KD014-013----). A well-maintained, roughly rectangular area (dims. L c. 90m E-W; Wth c. 50m N-S) is enclosed by a mortared stone wall and entered through a gateway at E. Tunstead has recorded some 45 inscriptions and 37 photographs of the grave markers, dating from the 19th century to the present. (Headstones: Kildare, Straffan Cemetery, Co.
