John Linehan held a stone so wide it defied reason, eight feet nine inches around before breaking. The surviving fragment stands merely two feet three inches high, a stubby witness to forgotten force. Pallas keeps the shape but lost the exact spot, leaving behind a ghost of measurement rather than a visible monument.

Bowman (1934, 677) recorded standing stone on John Linehan's land; 'Portion of this was broken off, the remaining portion being 2 ft 3in high by 8ft 9in in girth'. Exact location not known.
