Convoy Townparks holds a standing stone on fair pasture sloping south, yet no trace appears on the first edition OS map. The stone may have fallen, buried or vanished before surveyors arrived, leaving behind a empty field and a forgotten marker. What remains is a gap where a stone should stand, inviting imagination to fill the silence.
