Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Runnaroddan, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the west end of a low east-west spur and contains a circular grass-covered area about thirty-one metres across. An earthen bank and shallow outer ditch surround the space, although no entrance remains visible. Another rath stands roughly one hundred and ninety metres to the northwest.
At the W end of a low E-W spur. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.1-3.2m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.7-0.8m) WNW-N-SE and a scarp (H 0.6m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 4-6m; D 0.1-0.4m) which does not survive at N and S. There is an outer bank (Wth 2.6m; ext. H 0.3m) at NW, but there is no visible entrance. Rath (RO009-017----) is c. 190m to the NW.
