Hut site in Rossmackowen Commons

In rough mountain grazing, on a mantle of blanket bog, on a terrace on the steep W-facing slope of Hungry Hill. The remains of an oval hut site (2.4m N-S; 1.9m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.65m). The hut site is cut (D 0.5m) into the upslope at the ESE and is built up (H 0.2m) externally on the downslope at the W to compensate for the hillslope.
