What is recorded here

Rockstown Church ruins anchor the northeast corner of a square graveyard measuring twenty-nine metres across, enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall in County Limerick. The compact boundary suggests a small community claimed this exact patch for death and memory before modern maps existed. Whether neighbours buried children, elders or strangers remains unknown, but the preserved shape records that someone valued the continuity of grave and ground enough to build a wall around it.
