Grave Yard in County Cavan holds Moybologue churches inside a circular drystone wall dating from 1813. Headstones from 1730 to 2003 mark the dead, while the closed gate keeps the living at a distance. The round shape suggests people once walked together around the departed rather than passing them by.

The early monastic church and the parish church of Moybologue are within a circular graveyard (diam. c. 70m E-W; 68m N-S) defined by a drystone wall (at N: Wth 1m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.4m) with a masonry wall (Wth 0.6m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.8m) on the roadside SE-SW. The W pier of the entrance gate has an inscription on its E face which is indecipherable apart from the date 181(?)3, which probably commemorates the construction of the graveyard wall. The graveyard is now closed for burial and the headstones date from c. 1730-2003.
