A slightly dished, circular area (diam. 17m) is enclosed by a well-defined, flat-bottomed fosse and a low external bank (overall diam. 25m). Extensively disturbed by military trenches at the W and N. A Neolithic ringbarrow; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). Its construction and enclosure features suggest ritual or funerary significance, typical of ceremonial sites in the Irish lowlands.
