Structure

A dense deposit of seven pieces of light brushwood (Wth 0.31m; D 0.09m), predominantly orientated E-W. The wood is in moderate condition and in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and some fibrous roots. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
