Structure

A regular deposit (Wth 1.7m; D 0.49m) of light brushwood, all orientated N-S. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat with frequent fibrous roots and occasional Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
