Structure

A small deposit (Wth 0.57m; D 0.09m) of five irregularly laid pieces of light brushwood, four of which are closely set. The site is in poorly humified Sphagnum peat containing fibrous roots. SMR OF010-316---- is 0.25m to the SW and SMR OF010-318---- overlies the NE extent. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
