Structure

A deposit of material (Wth 0.73m; D 0.12m) which consists of a light roundwood, a radially split plank (Wth 0.15m; D 0.06m) and a stone in the drain face. The elements are irregularly laid, widely spaced and lie in moderately to well-humified Sphagnum peat with occasional natural wood roots and fibrous roots. This site may be related to SMR OF010-161----, 1m to the NE. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
