What is recorded here
Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathconor, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle west-facing slope where a circular grass-covered area measures forty-one and a half metres east-west and forty-point-seven metres north-south. An overgrown rounded fosse defines the perimeter, while a drystone wall circumvents the southern and northern outer edges. A roadway once occupied the northeast section of the fosse before turning south away from the monument.
