What is recorded here

Underground in Raskeagh, County Louth, a man-made passage runs beneath a ringfort, local memory calling it a cave. Built by human hands rather than carved by water, it may have hidden people, goods or fire when storms or enemies closed the sky. The earth above still wears a fortress, but the hole below suggests the true room was never the one anyone could see.
