One chamber burned hot while the other chamber waited in darkness. The furnace and passages stood together beneath Rampark, building a small address where heat, tilt and distance could be measured. Maybe a family lived above them, judging when the air became sweet or when the floor stopped shaking. They may have carried water, moved stone or watched the marks on the wall until the house answered their questions.

Discovered during the construction works associated with a new dwelling (Excavation Licence No. 04E1559). Found alongside an Early Christian burial ground (LH008-121----), two Man-made underground passages (LH008-123---- and LH008-124----), a kiln (LH008-123----) and a number of pits.
