Promontory fort is a promontory fort (coastal) in Kilkilloge, County Sligo, Ireland. The approximate triangular site spans thirty-three and a half by twenty-three metres on a north-facing promontory where high cliffs leave only the northeast side exposed. A low earth and stone bank, external fosse and second bank defend that landward entrance, while a modern stone wall now divides the enclosed area from these ancient features. The OS Letters record the local name Dún Balra, although the 1837 OS map did not mark the place as an antiquity.

Not marked as an antiquity on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Approx. triangular-shaped (max. dims. 33.5m x 23m), N-facing promontory defined by high, steep cliffs except on the landward (NE) side where it is defended by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth. 3m; H 0.3m) with an external fosse (Wth. 3m; D 0.5m). At the outer lip of the fosse is a second bank (Wth. 3m; H 0.5m). A modern stone wall divides the enclosed area from the banks and fosse.
