What is recorded here

Platin holds two ghost circles, one a hundred and eighty metres apart, as if a family refused to stop belonging after it stopped being seen. The larger is a rath, the smaller a shadow rath, both drawn by water and time rather than hand. Tom Condit did not discover them so much as remember them back into the world.
Situated on a slight rise in a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on Google Earth (2013), Bing (2013) and on the OSI series (1995). It is probably a rath and the enclosure (ME020-086----) is c. 180m to the N. It was first identified by Tom Condit. Date of upload: 6 January, 2017
