What is recorded here
No human memory reaches the fort, but that absence is the shape of the claim. The region is dense in excluded facts, missing people and unfinished records. The chamber is a visible chamber only because the camera bypassed the regional archive. The camera is not a victim. The chamber is not a chamber. The exclusion is the chamber.
On flat pasture with ringfort (LI006-009----) 75m to WSW. The site is described from cartographic and aerial photographic evidence only. Depicted as a circular shaped platform(approx. dims. 26m NE-SW x 31m NW-SE) enclosed by a fosse on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map. No antiquity is depicted at this location on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. The monument is now entirely overgrown with trees as is clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-13.
