What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey former terraced house, c.1825, with single-storey section to rere. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimney stacks at gable ends. Roughcast rendered walls with buttresses to right gable end. Square-headed window openings with timber sash windows, stone sills and timber lintels. Two simple timber doors. Remains of ground floor shopfront to left. Some openings blocked and building unoccupied.
The location of this house at a prominent T-junction, its street frontage and the remains of a shopfront suggesting commercial usage combine to make it a valuable document of type and usage once common in villages of this size.
