What is recorded here
Three pieces of brushwood and an upright (Wth 1.22m; D 0.18m). The horizontal elements are widely spaced and irregularly laid. The upright piece abuts one element but does not appear to be functional. There is evidence for woodworking with a metal tool and branch-trimming. The wood is in moderate condition and sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum. The site is located c. 4m to the S of SMR WM039-340---- at a comparable level and the two may be related.
