Baneena South holds a tall, weathered stone moved from Rathcobane in 1986, carrying the old name Loga son of Sdanbi and a later mark by James Ward. The schoolyard setting transforms a buried local identity into a daily witness, forcing children and teachers to confront the depth of human memory beneath ordinary life.

This is the present location of the ogham stone which orginally stood in Rathcobane townland (see CO054-067----). The stone (H c. 1.3m; 0.33m x 0.26m) was moved to the grounds of Scoil an Easpaig O Briain (Bishop O'Brien School), Bartlemy in 1986 (Power et al. 1994, no. 4239). The weathered inscription was interpreted by Macalister (1945, 70, no. 65) as LOGA MAQI SDANBI. He also noted that one James Ward has written his name in ogham on the other edge of the same face.
