What is recorded here

Mullaghoran holds a broad earthen ring around a empty circular chamber, marked only by a missing gate and a water-filled ditch. It is the kind of place people once called a fairy fort because the boundary still reads like a threshold rather than a house. A person standing inside at dusk would feel the land turning the ordinary world outward. The measurement is small, but the suggestion is not.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 28m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse infilled from WSW-W-WNW. Original entrance not recognisable.
