Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 49m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse. Slight traces of an apparently modern counterscarp bank at the outer lip of the fosse from NE-E-S. Original entrance may have been at S.
