Moone High Cross rises fifty-four decimetres above Kildare soil, preserving eighth-century granite carvings that mapped biblical wonders and ancient sun symbols for people who may not have read Latin. Daniel faced lions, children stood inside flame, and apostles watched Christ suffer while spiral light turned above them. The stone survived burial, reappeared in sections, and returned taller than memory after human hands gathered what time had scattered.

The 'north' cross in the wooded field to the N of the church (KD036-031001-). Undecorated, pyramidal-shaped granite base.
