Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Moher (roscommon By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle NE-facing slope as a subcircular grass-covered area measuring 38m east-west and 34m north-south. A flat-topped overgrown earthen bank and a re-cut drainage fosse define its boundary, while Rath (RO029-122----) stands approximately 200m to the NNW.
On a gentle NE-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 38m E-W; 34m N--S) defined by a flat-topped overgrown earthen bank (Wth of base 4.7-5.4m; Wth of top 2-2.4m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 0.4-0.9m) and a fosse (Wth of top 3.2-4m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 0.6m), which has been re-cut as a drain NNW-E-SSW. Gannon (1972) noted an entrance (Wth 2m) at SE which is not visible now.
