In pasture, on S-facing slope. Slight visible surface trace of rectangular area (dims. 38m N-S; 26m E-W) defined by very slight trace of scarp on all sides (L 28m at W; L 26m at S; L 42m at E; L 32m at N). Trace of scarp best defined on S-side and small portion of bank (Wth 10.5m; int H 0.5m; ext H 0.2m) survives at NW corner. Monument incorporated into rest of field as pasture. Shown on latest edition 6” OS 6-inch map as rectangular area (dims. 45m N-S; 28m E-W) abutting field boundary to N and possibly truncated by same to W. According to Cahill (1982), monument levelled c. 1970. Pond abutting NW corner. Moated site (TS069-061003-) adjoins SE corner and enclosure (TS069-061001-) is located 80m to NNE.
