In improved wet pasture, on a natural curvilinear ridge, overlooking low-lying level area of ground (possible flood plain) to N. Identified on aerial photograph (Ordnance Survey 2434/5)). Circular area (dims. c. 6m N-S; 5m E-W) defined by fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.05m) S-N-SSE and outer bank (Wth 3.65m; int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.1m) WSW-N-ENE is best defined NNE-ENE. Land drain (long axis NE-SW) has truncated exterior of fosse SSE-S. Interior has a N-facing slope in N-half and is level is S-half. Ring-barrow (TS066-075008-) is c. 55m to the WSW.
