Doocassan holds a ruined gallery tomb where massive stones still mark a chamber narrowed to barely a metre before a solid backstone. The mound stretches fourteen metres across a low ridge, preserving a passage wide enough for one person to crawl toward darkness. Whatever lived or died there has vanished, but the stones still force the body to bend and enter small.

Sited on a low ridge. A ruined gallery stands towards the SSE end of a mound, 14.5m long, 7m in greatest width and 0.75m high. The gallery, now 3.5m long, is closed by a backstone at the SSE. Three sidestones remain at its more westerly side and four at the E. It narrows from 1.9m wide at the open NNW end to 1.1m near the backstone. The status of a number of low stones beyond the gallery sides is uncertain as is the function of a large set stone 1m SE of the backstone. Neolithic passage tomb, dating to approximately 3000–2500 BCE. Its significance lies in its structural elements, including a backstone and surviving sidestones, which reflect early megalithic burial practices in the region.
