Man-made underground passage in Haggardstown

Man-made underground passage

What is recorded here

Campbell (1995a, 64-65) suggested a number of areas where a Man-made underground passage may be located beneath it, though the passage itself has never been found. The ringfort sits in Haggardstown, County Louth, waiting for someone brave enough to dig where the ground feels hollow. If a tunnel exists beneath that old earth, it has been swallowing rain and forgotten footsteps for centuries.
