Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Macetown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Macetown, County Westmeath, Ireland. Situated on the west-northwest side of a low ridge in pasture, the site offers good views to the south-southwest, west, and north-northeast. The 1970 account described the levelled monument as an almost completely ploughed out roughly circular area measuring 39.3 metres north-south and 37 metres east-west, defined by the remains of a scarp and an external fosse. The levelled scarp, with a maximum height of 0.6 metres, was visible from the south-southeast through south, west, to north-northwest, while the outer fosse, approximately 4.8 metres wide, was traceable as a cropmark from the south-southeast through south, west, north, to east.

Situated on the WNW side of a low ridge, in pasture with good views to SSW, W and NNE. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map. Levelled monument described in 1970 as an almost completely ploughed out roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 39.3m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by the remains of a scarp and an external fosse. The levelled scarp (max. H 0.6m) is visible from SSE-S-W-NNW. The outer fosse (approx. Wth 4.8m) is traceable as a cropmark from SSE-S-W-N-E which is defined as an area of differential growth. The original entrance is not recognisable. A modern field fence running NNE-SSW skirts the monument to ESE. Monument is visible on Digital Globe aerial photography as a suboval-shaped cropmark.
