Standing stone in Lurrig: a great pillar stone 10 feet high which stood in County Cork until it was cut up to make headstones, possibly after people stopped believing it should remain whole. Lurrig no longer has an exact spot for it, only the shape of its loss and the chance that some of its flesh still marks a grave.

According to Power (1940, 106) 'a great pillar stone 10 feet high which stoood here till fifty years ago'. Subsequently cut up to make headstones. Exact location not known.
