Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lismaha, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map as a circular embanked enclosure about twenty metres across and on the 1915 map as pits at the south-east end of a low ridge. A slight curved bank trace noted at the north-west in 1972 has disappeared from the pasture surface.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 20m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as pits on the 1915 ed. It is situated at the SE end of a low WNW-ESE ridge. A slight trace of a curved bank survived at NW (Gannon 1972) which is no longer visible at ground level in pasture. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
