Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lickadoon: a small earthen ring in low pasture, levelled but still visible beneath grass and traffic of memory. Knockea Hill watches from the northeast, as if keeping the place honest. People may have lived, hidden or played inside that circle before ploughs and patience smoothed it; the bank still marks the shape of their choice.

Located in low-lying, gently undulating pasture, overlooked to the NE by Knockea Hill. Monument, depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m E-W; c. 25m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank with an external fosse. The enclosure has been levelled but is still evident as a sub-circular area (c. 20m SW-NE) defined E to SW by the remains of a levelled earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; Wth 1.9m; ext. H 0.1m).
