What is recorded here

One chamber, four mouths in the same limestone scar. People lived there through the Early Christian centuries, cooking over charcoal and eating fish, birds and both kept and hunted animals. Coleman brought up that whole ordinary life in 1942: iron, bronze, worked bone, worked stone and the remains of days spent together in the dark.
