Fairy fort in Kilmoney, County Cork: a levelled earthen ring, 29 to 30 metres across, on a north-facing slope above the Owenboy river valley. Its grass-covered bank stands less than a metre high, but the flat circle remains clear in the tillage. People may have lived there, excluded others, or simply marked the slope with a boundary the eye could not forget.

In tillage, on N-facing slope overlooking Owenboy river valley to N. Levelled; circular area (29.2m N-S; 30.5m E-W) now defined by low grass-covered bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.75m) ENE->NNW.
