Freestanding single-bay single-storey flat-roofed rubble stone pill box, c.1940, on a corner site. Flat concrete roof. Random rubble stone walls with remains of unpainted cement render over. Series of rectangular apertures on horizontal bias with no fittings. Set on corner site with concrete footpath to front.

This pill box is of importance as a reminder of the structures of civil defence installed during ‘The Emergency’ (1939 - 1945). The pill box, at present, forms a picturesque and unassuming feature in the streetscape.
