What is recorded here
A deposit of brushwood on the field surface (L 1.59m min.; Wth 0.92m min.; D 0.15m min.). It consists of three large pieces of brushwood orientated N-S, overlain by a concentration of light brushwood. The latter elements are orientated NW-SE. Chisel points are present on a number of elements and there is also evidence of branch-trimming. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
