Settlement cluster in Kilknockan is a settlement cluster in Kilknockan, County Tipperary, Ireland. The 1654-6 Civil Survey recorded Nicholas Everard of Fethard as proprietor in 1640, describing the lands as holding a small castle with some few cottages. Earthworks lie to the north, west and south of the castle in level pasture northwest of Kilknockan Hill, with a slight visible trace of a semi-circular area about 35 metres north-south and 26 metres east-west defined by a low bank on the east, south and west-southwest. A farm road bisects the area, and no visible surface trace remains on the northern side except a curvilinear scarp that may be part of a natural downslope toward the wet area of Clashoona Pool to the northeast.

The Civil Survey (1654-6) records 'Nicholas Everard of Fethard Esqr.' as being the proprietor in 1640 and 'the sd lands hath on it a small castle with some few Cottages' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 189). Earthworks (TS070-011003-) located to N, W and S of castle (TS070-011001-) in level pasture, to NW of Kilknockan Hill. Slight visible surface trace of semi-circular area (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 26m E-W) defined by low profile bank (Wth 5.9m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.3m) E-S-WSW as per 1843 edition OS six-inch map. Bisected by farm road (Wth 4m) and no visible surface trace on northern side except curvilinear scarp which may be part of natural downslope to wet area of Clashoona Pool to NE.
