Grave Yard is a graveyard in Kilcooley, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a broad low hill where a rectangular area defined by masonry walls extended westward. The south wall of the nearby church forms part of the old graveyard boundary. Archaeological testing one hundred metres west produced no related material.
On a broad low hill. Rectangular graveyard (dims 42m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by masonry walls has been extended to the W (dims c. 80m E-W; 28m N-S). The S wall of the church (RO028-046001-) is incorporated in the S wall of the old graveyard. Archaeological testing (09E0228) c. 100m W of the old graveyard and on the other side of the entry lane produced no related archaeological material (Purcell 2012).
